Our Products

Our products are engineered to deliver superior strength, safety & performance across defense, commercial & architectural applications

Flat and Bend Tempered Glass

Tempered safety glass is made by heating annealed (float) glass uniformly through a furnace to temperatures exceeding 670 C – 700 C. The standard clear, tinted, reflective or Low-E float glass is then transferred to the quenching chamber of the furnace where it is rapidly cooled. This process increases the compression forces on the surface and the tension forces inside the glass, which gives tempered safety glass almost 5 times more strength than ordinary annealed (float) glass of the same thickness, combined with much greater resistance to impact. In conclusion, if this glass is broken the contained stress is released and results in the glass breaking into small particles.

For glass to be considered toughened or tempered, this compressive stress on the surface of the glass should be a minimum of 69 mega Pascal’s (10,000 psi). Our products are used in a wide range of applications from traditional window applications through to interiors and architectural needs

Insulated Glass

IGU, more commonly known as double glazing (or double-pane, and increasingly triple glazing/pane), consists of two or three glass window panes separated by a vacuum or gas filled space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building envelope.

Insulating glass is a very effective way to reduce air-to-heat transfer through the glazing. When used in conjunction with low-E and/or reflective coatings, IG units perform even better for conserving energy and comply with international standards.

The most common configuration of IG units for commercial building is a 6 mm lite, 12mm of air space and a 6mm lite. For home use 5 mm lite, 8mm of air space and a 5mm lite can also be used but this type of IGU will be less energy efficient

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. Laminated glass applications. Skylight glazing, glass balustrades, glass floors and automobile windshields typically use laminated glass.

Automotive Glass

We produce auto glass to meet industry requirements of automotive sidelights, sunroofs and backlights. Or two sided bend shapes for use in cars, trucks, buses and trains.

Our products are used in a wide range of applications from traditional window applications through to interiors and architectural needs.

Bullet Resistant Glass

BRG glass compositions vary but most common are HST laminated manufactured from several layers of glass bonded together with tough polyvinyl butyral (PVB)/ Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) interlayers.

The resistant requirements determine the number, and thickness of individual glass layers, thus affecting the overall thickness and weight. On impact the front layers of glass are designed to absorb the bullets initial impact energy by shattering allowing the subsequent glass layers and PVB to absorb the lower level shock waves.

Some BRG compositions include the use of a polycarbonate layer. Polycarbonate is lighter and stronger than glass and its use allows the manufacturers to reduce overall thickness and greatly reduce weight, especially in no spall variants.
